Kaitlan Collins confronted Trump directly outside the UN just this week, asking when the Iran war will end, only to have Trump snap back that she “shouldn’t be covering” him. She showed up anyway and asked the question that needed asking.
Christiane Amanpour has spent decades getting dismissed and demeaned by powerful men who didn’t want to answer her questions, and she’s still out there, in a CNN cap, doing the job.
Kylie Atwood keeps showing up to cover national security and foreign policy with the same rigor, regardless of who’s trying to shut the door on her.
These are women who’ve absorbed insults, dismissals, and outright hostility from Trump, and every single time, they fire right back with the next hard question. Not with outrage. With accountability.
This all comes days after CNN itself was banned from the White House entirely, and MS NOW’s fact check of Trump’s UN speech called it riddled with false claims.
Trump can throw whatever he wants at these women. They keep showing up, and they keep doing the job.
