LOS ANGELES — The final Golden Buzzer has officially been awarded on America’s Got Talent Season 21, completing the list of 10 performers who earned an automatic place in the Live Shows after standout auditions throughout the summer. With no Golden Buzzers remaining, the competition now shifts to the newly introduced Judges’ Callback Round, where the remaining contestants will compete for the final Live Show positions.
Season 21 continued the show’s expanded Golden Buzzer format, allowing each judge and host Terry Crews to send exceptional acts directly to the next stage. The Golden Buzzer recipients represent a wide variety of talent, including singers, magicians, dancers, rappers, acrobatic performers and canine acts, highlighting one of the most diverse lineups in recent AGT history.
Among the standout Golden Buzzer moments was 14-year-old singer Lai Noelle, whose emotional performance impressed Simon Cowell and earned the season’s first Golden Buzzer. Other memorable recipients included Luke Taleno, whose inspiring rap performance resonated with both the judges and audience, the energetic Acro Canine Crew, and illusion group Hundred Fingers, whose breathtaking card magic left the panel stunned.
Golden Buzzer Winners Advance Automatically
The Golden Buzzer remains one of the most coveted moments on America’s Got Talent. Once pressed, golden confetti fills the stage as the selected act skips further elimination rounds and advances directly to the Live Shows.
However, this year’s talent pool proved so competitive that producers introduced an additional Judges’ Callback stage for contestants who narrowly missed receiving a Golden Buzzer. Judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Sofía Vergara, and Howie Mandel will now mentor selected performers before deciding which acts claim the remaining Live Show spots.
NBC says the new format was created because the judges advanced nearly 100 acts from auditions, while only 44 performers can ultimately compete live. With 10 Golden Buzzer acts already guaranteed a place, the remaining contestants now face one final opportunity to keep their dreams alive.
